What is BoxMySpace?
At BoxMySpace, we provide a convenient and hassle free storage option for consumers. Either you want to create more space at your residence/office or or just a clean and secure space to keep your things.
We provide storage on a pay per use model, so you only pay for what you use and for as long as you require.
How does it work?
1. You can either use our online storage calculator or fill up this form (with pictures) to find out how much storage space you will require.
2. We will send you our standard pricing for the storage space which is estimated based on your items.
3. We coordinate with you to get your pickup done at your convenient time and as per our operation schedule.
4. Your items are stored safely in our storage facility till you ask for them back.

How does the pricing work?
There are two storage plans

Boxes: These can be used for storing smaller items like nick-nacks, utensils or other small items. It costs Rs. 199 per month for storage.
Space: You can store all your large items such as sofa, tv, fridge, bed and other furniture items
We have two space plan a) 4ft x 4ft x 4ft (around 16 sq.ft) b) 6ft x 6ft x 6ft (around 36 sq.ft) And for the space it's Rs. 2999/month for the 4ft space plan and Rs. 3999/month for the 6ft space plan.

There is a one-time pickup fee of Rs. 299 per box.
For the space, its Rs. 2999 for the 4ft space plan and Rs. 3999 for the 6ft space plan. Please Note: The fee may vary depending on the distance, number of labours required for pickup which depends on the final list of items and number of floors in the building. This is just an estimation.
What is your operational hours?
We operate Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm.
Which cities are you currently operating in?
We are operating in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore now. Soon to be in NCR region and Hyderabad too.

What's the capacity of the boxes?

Each box has a dimension of 2ft X 1.5ft X 1ft (Length X Breadth X Height in inches). The weight limit of each box is 25 kgs. Once you have packed your things, you have to make sure the lid closes properly.

What if I end up ordering more boxes than I need?
Don't worry, you will only be charged for the number of boxes you use. So feel free to order couple of extra boxes online.
Where is the storage facility located?
Our storage facility in Mumbai is located at Bhiwandi, Hinjewadi in Pune and Whitefield in Bangalore.

What about the security?
We have a state of the art facility which secured 24/7 by guards, equipped with CCTV cameras and industry standard ventilation. We seal your boxes in front of you with our unique anti-tampering seals. If you would like to visit our facility, feel free to contact us at info@boxmyspace.com. Is there any restrictions on the things I can store?
For the boxes, you can pretty much store anything up to a limit of 25 kgs. However, we do not accept food, perishable items, explosives and flammable items. We also do not recommend storing valuables or fragile items such as paintings, jewellery because of the nature of storage.
Is there a maximum storage duration?
No, you can store as long as you want. From 2 months to 6 months, 12 months and further. The minimum storage is for one month.
Do you dismantle the household goods?
No, We do not dismantle your products i.e. furniture, air conditioner, and other electricals. You will need to hire an outside help yourself.
How soon should we inform you for a pick up or return?
You need to inform us minimum 48 hours before a pick up or delivery.
I am still not sure what all can we put in the boxes?
Here is a list of items we've put together to give you a sense of what all you can store.
- Books, documents/files
- Rain gear, boots, wedding clothes, winter jackets
- Children toys, camera tools (pod, stand)
- Decorative lights, festive decorations
- Any sort of sport equipment's
- Trekking or travel gear

What can the larger space accomodate?
Space - 4ft x 4ft x 4ft - Here you can store your coffee table, suitcases, beam bags etc and additional smaller items.
Space - 6ft x 6ft x 6ft - With this option, you can pretty much store anything and everything. From your furniture items like sofa, bed, cupboard to electronics such as TV, fridge or inventory material
Which locations are you currently operational in?
We have our storage services in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore

Please Note: In Mumbai, we are operational only in Western, Central, South and Navi Mumbai side.
In Bangalore, we are operational till Whitefield and outer ring road areas.
In Pune, we are operational in main city area and Hinjawadi.

What if I require packing for my items?
No issues, we can help you pack your items. Packing costs are at actuals and may vary depending on the size of the items. This is just an estimate.
Rs. 99/item - For non-fragile and smaller items
Rs. 199/item - For fragile items
Rs. 299/item - For larger items
When am I charged for it?
Once the boxes are packed and you schedule for pick-up, you will be charged for it then. For the Space option, you will be charged when we come to pick up your storage items.
We accept cash as well as online payment. The cash payment will be collected by our authorised delivery and pick-up person. If you prefer giving a cheque, please draw the cheque in favor of "DTC Technologies Private Ltd."
If I need something back, how does it work?

It's simple. Login to your account. You will be able to see the picture of your boxes and the items you have stored with us. Select the items you want. And we will deliver it to you within 24-48 hours.
What's the cost to get my items delivered back to me?
There is a fee of Rs. 299 per box for each return.
For the space, its Rs. 2999 for the 4ft space plan and Rs. 3999 for the 6ft space plan.
Note: For boxes, there is minimum charge for 10 boxes return. Currently we do not have the option to get a single item either from the box or from the space. Also, charges may vary depending on the distance and number of labours required to get the return done.
Are there any charges for late payments?
After pickup up of your items for storage, if you are payment is still pending for more than 2 weeks, then a late payment fee of Rs. 500 per day is levied till the payment has been cleared.
If your payment is due even after a month, then a month late payment charge of 10% of your total amount is charged till its cleared.
Note: This is completely at the discretion of the management.
